I don't think it was caused by the script since it doesn't add any unnecessary global styles.
Maybe you are just used to the WebA version of Telegram, not WebK? Try disabling the userscript and opening the page https://web.telegram.org/k/
If it looks the same, then userscript is not the issue. Also try changing the zoom level with Ctrl + mouse wheel.
