If by 'server rooms sidebar' you mean the scroller at the very left, that should be a reasonable place. I'll add it as an option with the caveat of needing a minor edit, and then if everything's okay with it I'll promote it to default.
Ok, the option 'buttonLocation0p6' is present. Change 'false' to 'true' there to activate the new location.

Move the button to the right side?
I mainly use the script to help multitask with other windows and as a consequence the discord window is quite small. This script really helps with that by hiding the channels list, however the button to toggle that is off-screen when enabled, and is in view when enabled.
Would it be possible to move the button to somewhere on the left side of the discord window where the elements don't move or change (eg. in the server rooms sidebar or on the left side of the toolbar)
